Day 33

Pray
Pray and ask God to open your heart and mind to understand His Word.

Read
Romans 14:1-8

Answer the Following Questions

Please note:  In addition to the required reading, it would be of great benefit to you if you read all of Chapter 14.

1 In these verses, the writer gives 2 examples of “disputable matters” (NIV) or “doubtful disputations” (KJV).  Please list these 2 examples.
2 According to the writer, how are the people with the disagreement not supposed to treat each other?
3 When we have differences of opinion on these kinds of issues, what are the key things we should remember?
4 What are some examples of “disputable matters” today?
5 What strong beliefs do you hold that might not apply to others?  How do you handle it when you see that others don’t hold your belief?

Pray

Pray that God would give you the wisdom to tell the difference between critical issues and “disputable matters”.
