Deadlines
Immediately apply for passport if you do not already have one.  [Application forms may be obtained at the Post Office.  You will need two passport size photos which may be obtained at WalMart.  It often takes six weeks to receive passports.]
 
March 1ST $100.00 Non-Refundable Application fee
This application fee covers our costs in setting the trip up for you (mailings, calls to West Africa, and many other logistical necessities.) We incur these expenses even if you decide later not to go.
March 15th Make appointment with your healthcare provider to receive all shots and malaria prophylaxis
April 1ST $1500.00 Air Fare (Per Person)
This is a close approximation based on prices we have right now.  The earlier you secure your ticket, the greater the guarantee you have to lock in at this price.  With oil prices rising, we cannot guarantee this price until you have actually paid for it.  The longer you wait the more chance that this price may go up.  You may pay for your ticket any time before this date, but April 1st is the deadline.
April 8TH VISA Fees (Approximately $50.00)
By this date, your passport and the visa fees must be in the AOF office.  This fee is not included in your total package, as they vary from country to country.  AOF will then send all passport and visa fees to the embassy of your country of destination.  An application for a visa to your country of destination will be in the information packet that will be sent to you after we receive your completed application form and fee.  If you sign up for the entire trip, you will need visas for all three countries, and each country has separate fees.
