Nurture

God has designed the Church to be a
family. God is our Father, and we are brothers and
sisters in Christ. Our commitment to God is partially
fulfilled as we care for and love one another. Our
care for one another is one of the ways God makes us,
and keeps us, fit for service in advancing His
Kingdom. The end goal of the Nurture Council is to
make us most effective in accomplishing God’s will for
our lives. |

The
Nurture Council works to keep us together as a
family by planning and executing fellowships,
picnics, bowling parties, etc. They are also
responsible for keeping the members and friends
informed of church events.
In
addition to ensuring that we stay together as one
family, the Nurture Council works to meet the
personal needs of the membership by facilitating
support groups, providing counseling, offering
crisis intervention, and addressing financial
emergencies through the Benevolence Ministry.
